Herzstück has a concentrated golden yellow color and a bouquet of ripe fruit like apricot, peach, citrus and even a garden herbs. Once you smell the wine there is no way you don't instantly want to drink it.
The mouth feel and flavour of this wine is dense, creamy and yet elegant, expressing exotic fruit with nicely integrated acidity. The long finish is based on its wonderful presence of minerals and herbal tones. A show piece of what can be achieved with grapes from the Cru of Klüsserather Bruderschaft.
We recommend it with asian or even mediterranean dishes like a creamy pasta or a risotto. But due to its power it is also matching game and slow roasted meats (ideally with wild mushrooms)
