Barbier-Louvet is a very small family owned champagne winery from Tauxières Mutry, Premier cru & Grand Cru.
« Champagne Barbier-Louvet Père et Fils » (Barbier & sons) has been established for 6 generations. The village of 240 inhabitants with both winegrowing and farming activities, is located in the heart of the Champagne vineyards, 15kms away from Epernay and 20 kms in the South of Reims.
The vineyard is located on the Southern slope of the « Montagne de Reims » ( Reims Mountains), in the « Côte des Noirs ». The family has owned the vineyards for generations and their champagnes are exclusively made from grapes grown in their own vineyards.
Every step of the champagne making process is carried out by the family it self and by hand. Therefore they can guarantee the exceptional quality.
