Why we offer this to you ...
Simply, because we like it's purity of fruit. It reminded us of some really nice Sauternes or even German Riesling "Trockenbeerenauslese". It is sweet, yet fruity and has nothing to do with the often offered sugary sweet wines of the local Italian. Perfect balance between sweetnes and acidity.
What is it made of ...
100% Fiano
Roce Roce is made using the Passito method. The grapes are drying on wooden grids for 4 month and shrink down to almost raisin size. The grapes are then pressed delivering a highly concentrated most. The wine then ripens in small wooden barrels.
Its color is golden yellow with a nice nose and taste of honey, dried apricots and vanilla.
Comes in 0,5l bottles
